Mansfield Park 2007 Part 2

"Mansfield Park" 2007

Jane Austen
Directed by Iain B. MacDonald
Starring Billie Piper of Dr. Who fame.
and Blake Ritson
(Part 2 because there were too many good pictures)

These appear to all be shot in the same manse, or at least they are supposed to be.

Fanny and her brother... The wallpaper and furnishings are absolutely perfect in this room.

Kitchen AND linen. I'm not sure that would be accurate from what I have read. This is something that a specialist should tell me.

On the front lawn dancing.

OMG, the concrete columns and statues! Not to mention the scene behind the door.. another statue (marble perhaps?) and lacy plasterwork.

I took this because we have the pretty pinkish wallpaper next to the plasterwork of green and white. There is the pretty painting in the background where the frame is larger than the painting.

Fanny's room. Meant to be more stark. However, it is huge and quite pretty as far as I'm concerned

another beautiful room. I love the rug and chairs. Table and chairs in the corner

The salmon silk(?) settee in front of the green wall and white chairrail. The cabinet behind aunt here is inlaid. There are little porcelain statues and vase upon it.

Grand entry on the intricately placed stone walkway with formal trimmed shrub.

Mantelpiece. Do I need to say anything more?

The room, one of my favorites, ever.

As Fanny walks by, the plaster and paint on the walls is shown.

Large cupboard with a vertical line of prints hanging one from another.

Breakfast scene in beautiful gold room. I love the screen in front of the door to protect drafts.

I'm not so sure that this wallpaper can ever be topped. Or, is it painted?

You can see all of the plasterwork, mantel, painting above mantel and door, columns with table and chairs with shelves and shelves of books in the alcove.
